Jessica Carlile, PhD

Dr. Jessica Carlile (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment services to adults and adolescents. She is committed to helping people reduce distress, build resilience, and improve their overall quality of life. To do so, Dr. Carlile integrates science-based therapy with the art of client-centered, interpersonal processes. She is warm, collaborative, and direct.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Carlile is dedicated to public service. She serves on the Washington State Board of Psychologist Examiners, which regulates the practice of psychology to protect the public by ensuring competency for licensure and ethical practice. She also provides clinical supervision and consultation for mental health practitioners learning new treatments.
To ensure her clients receive the highest quality of care, Dr. Carlile maintains ongoing training and advanced certification in leading evidence-based treatments. She actively engages in research and professional training activities, presenting her work at international conferences and publishing scholarly articles. She is a member of multiple professional organizations and serves on special interest groups focused on Behavioral Sleep Medicine, Continuing Education, Diversity and Inclusion, and Trauma.
Dr. Carlile brings depth of experience to inform her clinical care. She has worked in diverse settings, including medical centers, the Veterans Health Administration, nonprofits, mental health startups, and community mental health. She continues to collaborate with colleagues at academic medical institutions to advance psychological treatments and deepen understanding of the experiences of communities that have historically faced barriers to equitable care.
