SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a confidential, free, 24/7, information service for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations. It is available in English and Spanish.

RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense.

The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. Serving the U.S. and Canada, the hotline is staffed 24/7 with professional crisis counselors who—through interpreters—provide assistance in over 170 languages. The hotline offers crisis intervention, information, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. All calls are confidential.

The Trevor Project provides free, confidential 24/7 crisis care for LGBTQ+ young people. Crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide.
