Cody Bullock, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Cody Bullock (he/him) is an independent practitioner with Elevate Psychology and a Board Certified licensed clinical psychologist. He specializes in treating trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood conditions, and substance use concerns. He provides evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment for adults and older adults. In his work, Dr. Bullock emphasizes ethical practice, client wellbeing, and respect for individual and cultural diversity. He skillfully tailors treatment to align with each person’s goals, values, and intersecting identities. He also enjoys using psychological and cognitive assessment to clarify mental health concerns when clinically helpful.

Dr. Bullock primarily uses a cognitive-behavioral approach while incorporating “third-wave psychotherapies” that address psychological concerns through holistic, contextual, and values-based strategies. He is formally trained in multiple evidence-based treatments and works collaboratively with clients to find approaches that support meaningful and lasting change.

Dr. Bullock began his clinical practice in 2007, with much of his experience in the Department of Veterans Affairs and, since 2016, in the U.S. military. He has worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from difficult life transitions and stressors to long-standing trauma and complex mental health concerns. Whatever brings someone to therapy, Dr. Bullock considers it a privilege to support clients in moving toward a life that reflects their chosen values and priorities.
